Alec Kal-El De La Cruz Simpson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alec Kal-El "Alec" Simpson. Born on September 26, 2005, he left us too early on April 16, 2024. Despite his short life, Alec left a profound impact on those around him and will be greatly remembered for his headstrong, intelligent, and loving personality.

Alec was best known for his relentless spirit and unwavering determination, always encouraging others to rise above their challenges, no matter how insurmountable they seemed. He demonstrated this same resilience when faced with his own disability. His inspiring journey in life is a testament to his strength and will be a part of his indelible legacy.

One of Alec's proudest achievements was becoming a member of the Junior National Honor Society, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and community service. His drive to always live life to its fullest was visible in every aspect of his life, shaping an inspiring legacy that will undeniably live on.

Alec is survived by his mother, Maren Simpson, his sister, Keira Lei Simpson, and his step-father, Noe Gonzalez. He also leaves behind his grandparents Joyce and Larry Lobelle and Felisa Dela Cruz, as well as his aunts Marlie Sarong, Marla Dela Cruz, Marde Buchart, and Marcy Salvador. Alec is also survived by his numerous cousins and his uncles Lynel Dela Cruz and Lyelson Dela Cruz. He was predeceased by his father, Harvey Simpson, and his grandfather, Paulino Dela Cruz.

A funeral service to celebrate Alec's life will be held on April 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park 1401 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146. We invite those who knew and loved Alec to join us as we honor his remarkable life and legacy.
