REMEMBERING OUR MOMMY

OUR MOMMY...SHE WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WHOLE WORLD. SHE WAS THE STRONGEST PERSON WEVE EVER KNOWN. SHE WAS TRULY OUR HERO...

IN SEPTEMBER 2012, MOMMY WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STOMACH CANCER AND IT WAS ALREADY AT STAGE 4. WE, BEING HER CHILDREN, WANTED HER DOCTORS TO DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO SAVE HER LIFE. WE WANTED HER TO BE WITH US AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. MOMMY WAS SO BRAVE AND DID EVERYTHING SHE COULD TO MAKE US HAPPY, EVEN THOUGH SHE DIDNT WANT TO BE POKED OR PRODDED ANYMORE. SHE WAS SO STRONG

WE WATCHED HER HEALTH DETERIORATE SLOWLY AS THESE LAST FEW MONTHS WENT ON. BUT STILL, SHE FOUGHT. WE WERE THERE WITH HER EVERYDAY, HOLDING HER HAND OR STROKING HER HAIR WHILE THE CANCER ATE AWAY AT HER TINY BODY. WE TRIED TO KEEP HER AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE THROUGH ALL THE MADNESS OF HOSPITAL VISITS AND TRIPS BACK HOME. WE GAVE HER ALL THE LOVE WE HAD AND WE KNOW THAT SHE FELT US WITH HER THE WHOLE TIME. EVERY DAY AND EVERY NIGHT, SHE WOULD SEND US RANDOM TEXT MESSAGES TELLING US THAT SHE LOVED US BIGGER.

WE THANK YOU GOD, FOR LETTING HER BE HEALTHY ENOUGH TO SPEND THANKSGIVING AT HOME WITH FAMILY, RATHER THAN IN THAT DAMN HOSPITAL ROOM. EVEN THOUGH SHE COULDNT EAT ANYTHING, JUST HAVING HER BY OUR SIDE MEANT EVERYTHING TO US. THERE WOULD BE NO THANKSGIVING WITHOUT HER.

ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 3RD, SHE WOKE UP AND COULDNT CATCH HER BREATH. WE SPENT THE WHOLE MORNING HOLDING HER HAND AND PRAYING WITH HER. SHE DID NOT WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL AGAIN. WE DID EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO MAKE HER COMFORTABLE AND MAKE SURE SHE WASNT IN ANY PAIN. SHE KNEW YOU WERE CALLING HER HOME TO HEAVEN AND SHE WAS READY. HER LAST WORDS WERE I HAVE TO GO. AT 2:05 PM YOU FINALLY CALLED HER SOUL HOME, AND EVEN THOUGH WE KNEW SHE WAS SAFE, AND YOUD BE THERE WITH HER DADDY TO WELCOME HER WITH OPEN ARMS, OUR HEARTS WERE STILL BROKEN.

ANNA DELIA MIRALLI WAS A DAUGHTER, A SEESTER, A MOMMY, A GRANDMA AND A TIA AUNT. SHE WAS AN AMAZING WOMAN.

SHE WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE OUR HERO.

WE LOVE YOU MOMMY

ANNA WAS SURVIVED BY HER THREE DAUGHTERS KRYSTA, GINA AND ANGELA AND HER SIX GRANDCHILDREN, KRSYTAPHER, ANGEL, ARIANNA, FATBOY JONATHAN, TREY AND ONE GRANDCHILD ON THE WAY.
