Arthur Jordan

Arthur C. Jordan, 85, of Las Vegas NV, passed away from pancreatic Cancer on March 6, 2012 at home surrounded by family.
He was born April 8, 1926 in Kansas City Missouri, son of Hazel and Arthur Jordan. He was the youngest of 4 siblings. On December 7, 1950 in Fort Scott Kansas, he married Leona B. Clayton, who survives.
Arthur Served 6 years in the U.S. Navy. He received his B.A. from Pittsburgh State College and Masters Degree from University of Missouri.
In 1954 Arthur Jordan moved his family to Las Vegas NV there he became a member of Second Baptist Church. He worked for the Clark County School District and retired as an Administrator in 1983.
He is survived by his wife Leona B. Jordan, 5 children, 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Davis Funeral Home on 2127 West Charleston Blvd LV NV 89102, from 4pm7pm.
Services will be held on Wednesday March 14 at Second Baptist Church located at 500 Madison Ave, Las Vegas NV 89106 at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Davis Funeral Home 6200 S Eastern ave Las Vegas, NV 89119.
