Aurelia Wiggins, age 61, physically left this earth on September 1st, 2020.  She passed away at her daughter’s home in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by family and friends. She unfortunately passed away after a brave battle against glioblastoma brain cancer.  She fought a valiant fight, and anyone who knew her would not have expected anything less of her.  She was never alone or in pain during her final days, and she passed peacefully surrounded by love.

She was born Aurelia Alejandrina Amezcua Martinez, on April 12th, 1959 in Jalisco, Mexico to parents Abel Amezcua and Amelia Amezcua Martinez.
She always lead a life of strength, perseverance, independence and adventure.
She loved meditation and travel.  She was blessed to have traveled all over the globe with notable trips; such as when she climbed to the top of the pyramid of Palenque in Chiapas, Mexico in 2017 using a cane;  2009 when she traveled to seven countries on a cruise along the Panamá canal which set sail from Manzanillo, Mexico; Then proceeded down to
Costa Rica,Colombia,Panama, and Jamaica; Then the Cayman Islands and docked in Miami, Florida ,USA.  In 2018 she traveled to Michoacan, Mexico to visit the monarch butterfly Sanctuary, something she had always wanted to do.  Most recently in 2019 she traveled to Israel, where she was baptized in the Jordan River and so many countless other travels.  They will always stay in the memories of those that she traveled with. Just as she will always travel in our memories.

Aurelia, is survived by her children, Pavel Corral, Tania Corral, Issac Wiggins and Alejandrina Wiggins. Seven grandchildren, six brothers and six sisters.  She was preceded in death by both her parents and a sister.

We thank everyone who touched her life in a positive way and prayed for her along the way.  A special thanks to the many family members and friends who made the trips from near and far in her final days to pray with her and say goodbye.

Aurelia Wiggins, de 61 años, se fue de esta tierra el 1 de Septiembre del 2020. Falleció en la casa de su hija en Las Vegas Nevada, rodeada de familiares y amigos. Desafortunadamente, falleció después de una valiente batalla contra el cáncer de cerebro glioblastoma. Ella luchó valientemente, cualquiera que la conociera no habría esperado menos de ella. Nunca estuvo sola ni sufrió dolor durante sus últimos días y pasó tranquilamente rodeada de amor.

Nació Aurelia Alejandrina Amezcua Martinez, el 12 de Abril de 1959 en Jalisco México de padres Abel Amezcua y Amelia Amezcua Martinez.

Ella siempre llevó una vida de fuerza, perseverancia, independencia y aventura.

Le encantaba la meditación y los viajes. Tuvo la suerte de haber viajado por todo el mundo con viajes notables; como cuando subió a la cima de la pirámide de Palenque en Chiapas, México, en 2017 usando un bastón. 2009 cuando viajó a siete países en un crucero por el canal de Panamá que zarpó desde Manzanillo, México, luego procedió a Costa Rica, Colombia, Panamá, Jamaica, Islas Caimán y atracado en Miami, Florida, Estados Unidos. En 2018 viajó a Michoacán, México para visitar el Santuario de la mariposa monarca, algo que siempre había querido hacer. Más recientemente, en 2019, viajó a Israel, donde se bautizó en el río Jordán y muchos otros viajes. Siempre permanecerán en la memoria de aquellos con los que viajó. Así como siempre viajará en nuestros recuerdos.

A Aurelia, le sobreviven sus hijos, Pavel Corral, Tania Corral, Issac Wiggins y Alejandrina Wiggins. Siete nietos, seis hermanos y seis hermanas. Sus padres y una hermana la precedieron en la muerte.

Agradecemos a todos los que tocaron su vida de manera positiva y oraron por ella en el camino. Un agradecimiento especial a los muchos familiares y amigos que hicieron los viajes de cerca y de lejos en sus últimos días para orar con ella y decirle adiós.
