Barbara Cullings

Barbara Jean Cullings was born November 30, 1933, to her parents, Ben and Julia Prosch, in Omaha, Nebraska.  She, her brother, Thomas, and her parents moved to Colorado in 1950 and she graduated high school, along with her future husband, in 1951.  Following University of Colorado graduation, she moved to teach 2nd grade in California, before a trip to Japan, to teach Air Force children there.  Returning to the U.S. she married and moved with her new husband to Las Vegas, where she taught second grade and the love of her career, school librarian, before retiring from CCSD, in 1933.

She leaves to mourn her passing, on 02-02-2022, her husband, H. Bruce Cullings, her son, Brett E. Cullings, her daughter, Brynn E. Willeford, 6 grandchildren, and, due to her loving nature, a multitude of friends.

Services will be held for Barbara at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 8901 Del Webb Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89134 on Friday, February 18, 2022.  Visitation will be from 4:45pm to 5:30pm and Service starting at 5:30pm.  Interment will be at Davis Memorial Park,.
