Benjamin A. Joven

Benjamin A. Joven, born on March 31, 1949, in Sta Cruz, Laguna, Philippines, peacefully passed away on October 12, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He lived a full and vibrant life, marked by dedication to both his professional career and his family.

Benjamin retired after an impressive 30 years of service from the National Power Corporation, where he was esteemed for his contributions and commitment of designing and building hydro electric power plants in the Philippines. His educational journey began at Far Eastern University, where he laid the foundation for his future, and he furthered his studies at the Mapua Institute of Technology and graduated in 1971. His work ethic and determination earned him respect not only among colleagues but also in the wider community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Benjamin was a loving family man. He is survived by his devoted wife, Fely, and their children: Ben Lee, Kathy, Benjie, and Jon. The love he shared with his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and he cherished the time spent with them.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on October 19, 2024, at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park in Las Vegas, Nevada. The service begins at 2:00 PM and concludes at 5:00 PM.
