Beverley Anne Baker, Simply "B" Beloved Mother aged 74, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was called home on Saturday March 23, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. After a long battle with Diabetes & Neuropathy. She was a fighter and never gave up. She was born on Thursday February 16, 1950. Beverley was a proud, loving, and generous individual with a great sense of humor. She was hard-working, loyal, sentimental, and detail oriented. She Moved to Los Angeles in 1955 with her family and became a United States Citizen on 11/25/1959

She was a great mother who loved her children. She worked hard as a single Mother; she gave all she had and went without to provide for them. She lost 4 children to Miscarriages, and talked how she loved them all and thought about them often over the years. She Loved being a mother and wanted a dozen. She taught her children to be self-sufficient, work hard, obey your elders & the law and believe in God through Jesus Christ. She Always said, "I Leave it in God's Hands", & "God has always come through for me."

To Know "Momma B", she was a good friend, and had a Mothers Heart and she showed her Love and Kindness and was a mother to many. You knew she cared about you when she gave you a card. She was very wise and had a commonsense approach to life she tried to pass on.  She was tough as nails on the outside, tender and caring inside.  She was no nonsense and would tell like it is.

Beverley is survived by her children: Shawn Sadler, Sherman Sadler, and Paula Sadler; her sibling, Gerald "Gerry" Baker;& Sister in Law Neng Baker; her cousins: Dianne Wheaton, Wanda Robinson, Jeanette Mills McKinnon, Yvonne Mills Belliveau and Sherwood Baker; her nieces: Crystal Cools, Shanna Probst, Teresa Chase, Michelle Baker; and her nephew, Eddie Baker, several great nephews and nieces & family in Canada. Her Best Friends Eva Greco & Paula Gollnick. Her Daughter in Law Cynthia and Grandson Joshua. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen "Mills" Baker; father, Eldene "Ed" Morris Baker; sibling, Chester Baker; former husband, Sherman Jay Sadler & her Godmother Aunt Ella

She leaves behind many friends & her Rottie "Athena" who she loved very much, and many animals over the years from her first Cat "Montie" to Maxx her Manx. She had a great love of animals.

She was Married to Larry Henley in 1966-1968 in Canoga Park, Los Angeles California. She had one Miscarriage with Larry and then had Shawn Steven Henley

In her career, Beverley's first job was as a Lathe Machine Operator, she worked at General Motors Van Nuys, California as an assembly line worker, was an Apartment Building Manager in North Hollywood & Van Nuys, California, and worked with various companies such as Melaleuca Wellness, A baker at Winchell's Donuts, she owned her own Yellow Cab in Los Angeles, she worked for Merry Maids, and Terribles Gas Station & Convenience store. She Retired from Yellow Cab Las Vegas in 2012.  In her retirement she took care of her Mom Eileen and Brother Chester till they passed and then she focused her time at A Harmony Nail Spa to help her daughter Paula. She will be missed by many. Nobody cleans & folds towels like "Mama B." She took pride in all she did. She Made friends with Team Harmony-she will be missed.

Beverley enjoyed watching Golden Girls re-runs, gardening, animals, Fox News, movies about the Rapture & Tribulation, and collecting various items. She followed TBN Ministries in the 70's & 80's and Jack Van Impe Ministries in recent years.

Her Dream was to move to the country and buy an old Country Home with Land. She talked about Upstate New York & Maine. In recent years she was looking at turn of the century early 1900's homes in Cleveland Ohio. She wanted to be out of Nevada before she was 75.

In her words: "Go with God" she said that she asked God through Jesus to forgive all her sins, that she Repented & she will have a peaceful & happy life after she dies. If we wanted to see her again, we should do the same. Read The Holy Bible, and to fellowship with believers in Jesus.
