Bobbie Taber

Bobbie Jo Taber, 73, a retired health care professional, of Las Vegas, passed away March 20, 2012. She was born Jan. 30, 1939 in Duck Town, Tenn., and was a nineyear resident of Las Vegas at Destinations Senior Living. She was an avid volunteer and completed the North Las Vegas Police Dept. Citizens Academy, and was elected captain of her watch. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Taber and her stepson, Bruce Taber. She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Scott Edelblute of Las Vegas her loving and devoted daughter, Susan Hartman of Gobles, Mich. her stepchildren, Scot, Mark, and Dale Taber soninlaw, Mark Hartman daughterinlaw, Brenda Edelblute her loving grandchildren, Matt, LeeAnn, Mercedes, Luke, Noah, and Mitch her loving greatgrandchildren, Serenity, Lily, Daniel, and Johnny. The viewing for Mrs. Bobbie Jo Taber will be 1:305:30 p.m., Saturday, March 31, with funeral services following, both at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas.
