Brian Mitchell Berk passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was 63.
Brian was born on June 24, 1958, in Maywood, California. He studied in the trade of sheet metal, HVAC and ultimately went into sales for commercial insulation. Brian was a highly regarded manager for Bay insulation for 20+ years and was loved by his customers and co-workers. He was remembered for his exceptional customer service and helping supply many companies in the Las Vegas construction community.
Brian was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his last several years adventuring with his sons and life partner Laura. Brian loved camping, skiing and hiking. He especially loved adventuring Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston, and exploring various places in Utah.
Brian was a Green Bay Packers fanatic. He had both the opportunity to go to Lambeau Field with his son Avi and so fortunate to go to Super Bowl XLV as well, where they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brian loved deeply and unconditionally, especially when it came to animals and children. Brian was able to make deep connections with his loved ones and always put other’s needs before his own. Brian was a caring and humble man who made a difference in other people’s lives.
Brian is survived by his mother, Edith Baker, as well as his brother Eddy Berk, and two children Zachary and Avi Berk. He also is survived by his two granddaughters, nieces and nephews, and grown stepchildren.
