Charles Holmes

Another Great man has left this earth. A Vietnam Veteran, Marine, Father, Uncle, Loving husband and brother- 72 years of very fond memories. Married 47 years to a very wonderful, strong and loving patient woman. . . My mother Janet Holmes. My father Charles L. Holmes Sr., is with Our Heavenly Father now and feeling no more pain.
Complications form a long struggle with diabetes took him to his last breathe. He is Survived by many, many , many nieces, nephews, cousins, two brothers Theron & Linda Holmes , & Franklyn Holmes, , as well as Wife Janet R. Holmes, 1 Daughter Jeanette (T.J.) 1 Honorary daughter Jeannine (Vinny), 2 sons Charles Holmes Jr. and Michael Holmes (Stephanie & six grandchildren, Sterling, Dakota, Nicholas, Parick, Rebecca and the newbie due in November 2017. My Y.O.D>- I love you and forever will miss you Lovingly - Y.O.D.

Charles was born 12-25 and passed away April 2, 2017 @ home. One of the nine children born to James Holmes Sr and Frances Holmes from Third Avenue Franklinville, New York. He was employed by Fisher-Price Toys in Holland, New York for 20 years as was his wife Jane before they relocated to Las Vegas Nevada. Which is were he retired until his recent passing, Services, Viewing and burial will all take place April 14,th 2017, Friday Viewing is at Davis Funeral Home on Rainbow between Oakey & Charleston 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas Nevada, 89146. Viewing will Start @ 9:30 am until 11:00 a.m. then service will begin 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. a full military graveside service will be at 1:20 pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City NV.

In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations may be given to Veterans in Nevada, for Rehab housing
