Charlie Jones

Charlie B. Jones, 56, an engineer at Mirage Resort and Casino, of Las Vegas, passed away June 5, 2012. He was born Jan. 9, 1956 in Bartow, Fla., and was a 28year resident of Nevada. He was married to Janice M. Jones for 28 years. He worked at the Mirage 25 years, and was Employee of the Month in September 1991. He also did upholstery work, he loved to fish, he was a great listener, and he always had a smart joke. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents two sisters and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Janice son, Charlie B. Jones Jr., a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army 163 MP DET and stepchildren, Anthony Brown, William Brown, and Dana Brown. Also, six grandchildren one sister and one brother. Visitation will be noon7 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
