Charlotte Ann Overmiller, loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed peacefully into eternity on the evening of July 3, 2021. She spent her final moments in her home, surrounded by loved ones.
An artistic, creative, and vibrant woman, Charlotte loved to play music, sing and dance. She was a seamstress and life-long lover of fashion. She started Cakes by Charlotte and provided hundreds of beautiful cakes from birthdays to weddings. She was an avid bowler and tennis player back in the day. She was also active in her church serving as deacon then elder and Chairman of the Worship Committee along with singing in the choir, bell choir and her beloved trio.
Charlotte was born in Portsmouth, Ohio to Raymond and Mary Gulley, but lived much of her life in Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved to travel around the world as well as camping in her RV.
She is survived by her older sister, Joyce Erwin, twin sister, Shirley Stefanowicz (husband Al), children, Shani Jacob (husband Jeff), Deanna Jacobs (husband David), Charlene Adams (husband Richard McDougall), and Danny Overmiller (wife Perlene), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15th, 2021, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the Davis Funeral Home, Rainbow Chapel (1401 S. Rainbow Boulevard).
The funeral will take place at the First Christian Church (101 S Rancho Drive), starting at 11:00am on July 17, 2021, with private burial to follow at 2:00om at Memory Gardens Cemetery (7251 W Lone Mountain Road).
Charlotte will be deeply missed, and fondly remembered, by the many family, friends, and loved ones she leaves behind.
