Charlotte Powell

Charlotte Powell, 80, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on July 10, 2020.

Charlotte was born in Alabama to Hobart and Kathryn Karrh on June 27, 1940.

Charlotte met her husband of 40 years at the Nevada Test Site, where Kirk worked for 36 years and Charlotte worked for years.  Charlotte was an avid gardener, who also loved sewing and fishing.  Charlotte enjoyed collecting rings, ring bowls, clothes, and shoes.  Mrs. Charlotte was a wonderful woman who will be missed by her family and friends.  She leaves behind a loving and admirable legacy.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Smith, Sisters; Faye Wiggins and Laura Hopkins and her parents; Hobart and Kathryn Karrh.

Charlotte is survived by Husband; Kirk A. Powell, Daughters; Linda Fuller and Kathryn (Jim) Bowen, Siblings; Martha Powell, Sarah Kilpatrick, Fannie Angel and Phillip Karrh, Grandchildren; Dale Fuller, Cherie Cousin, Jammie McGuff, Tommy McGuff, Jacob McLemore, Mallory McLemore, Cameron Kell, Caitlin Kell, Hannah Hostetter, Clayton Hostetter, Haley Bowen, Jacob and Jade Smith, Great-Grandchildren; Logan McGuff, Lily McGuff, Aubrey McLemore, Bentley McLemore, Macallan McLemore, Marlee McLemore, Silas Kell and Anna Fuller.

Funeral services will be held at 10:40am on Monday July 20, 2020 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada 89005.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Davis Funeral Home – Rainbow Chapel.
