Christopher Elijah Harnum, age 22, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in Las Vegas. Chris was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Paul Harnum and Caroline (Rincon) Filauro; he was the firstborn of both parents and the oldest of 5 brothers.
Chris was a football player, drama student, talented creative writer, and lover of anime. After high school graduation, he earned his certification as an E.M.T. An innocent survivor of gun violence, he passionately cared about helping other victims - particularly promoting fundraisers and assistance for the survivors of the Route 91 mass shooting.
Chris is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents Richard and Rita Primm, maternal great-grandfather Roberto Torres, paternal grandfather Paul Harnum, maternal step-grandfather Daniel Cronsell, uncle Ralph Cox, uncle Richard Primm, and aunt Eydie Brewer. He is survived by his father, Paul (Vicky) Harnum; his mother, Caroline (Jason) Filauro; four younger brothers, Sinjin Torres, Shohn-Paul Harnum, Santino Filauro, and Antonio Filauro; two step-brothers, Vincenzo Filauro and Gabriel Filauro; paternal grandparents Lori and David Hooker; maternal grandparents Jairo Rincon and Maria Cronsell; uncle Shaun (Mindy) Harnum, aunts Leslie (Rincon) Lopez, Melissa Rincon, and Jennifer (Gabriella) Guerra; Uncle Robert Lopez; cousins Jessalyn, Ivy, and Max Lopez, Chrisjin Schoonover, Evan, Christian, and Jaxen Harnum; Callie and Kaeden Guerra and many more beloved family members and friends.
