Connie Small

Connie M. "Nanay" Small of Las Vegas passed away on May 6, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Connie was born on June 5, 1934, in the Philippines and traveled around the world as a beautician and finally settled in the United States. She cherished cooking for her family and friends, finding great joy in it. She took pride in her cooking, and from a hobby, it led to her running her own small business. Additionally, she enjoyed playing bingo in her spare time. She worked as a change attendant at the McCarren International Airport, and after 15 years, she retired. Connie, affectionately known as Nanay, was well-loved by her family for her incredibly generous spirit. She was always a source of joy during family gatherings. She loved playing bingo with her son, daughter, and grandson in her spare time at Sunset Station.

Connie is survived by Marichu and John, her daughter and son-in-law; Boyet and Nel, her son and daughter-in-law. Mia, her youngest daughter. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sheryle, Mary Joyce, Michael, Toni, Christian, Aj, and Michelle. Connie was preceded in death by her sisters, Medy, Rena, and Aida. A viewing for Connie will be held on May 12, 2023, from 2-4 pm at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park (1401 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146). Family and friends are welcome to attend and honor Nanay’s wishes.
