David Mcnair

David (Dave) A. McNair, 72, of Toledo, Ohio, died on July 29th, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A graduate of Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio, Dave trained and served as Infantry in The United States Army for four years. His time serving included spending time in Panama, and earning a National Defense Service Medal in Marksmanship. After the Army, Dave studied Business and Political Science at The University of Toledo. Post education, he had a prolific and fulfilling career working in the medical field as an engineer, groundskeeper, and in environmental services.

Traveling throughout North America while working for Sodexo allowed Dave the opportunity to find Las Vegas as a place to settle, call home, and eventually retire. Dave always had the ability to make others laugh, and was loved and respected by all who knew him, reciprocated by the care and respect he showed others. He was recognized by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland for how he treated his employees at St. John’s Hospital, a place and time of his life he held dear.

Dave is survived by his wife, Royanne NcNair (Craig), stepsons Paul Fox (Heather), Alex Fox (Leah), and Ken Szych (Linda), and sister Barbara Delia (Frank). He was also a father figure to Steve Coleman. Dave had thirteen grandchildren.

The family will be celebrating Dave’s life privately, funeral and burial services will not be held.
