KISER-CUNNINGHAM, Demetra
Demetra Kiser-Cunningham, 39, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 27, 2019 in Las Vegas.
Demetra was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Kipper and Irene Kiser on October 8, 1979.
During her middle school years, she attended Elaine Wynn and Grant Sawyer. Her high school years included Durango High and the College/High School Program from CSN where she graduated in 1998. She later attended the CSN Dental Hygiene Program where she also graduated and started her lifelong career.
Demi was a kind free-spirit who loved her friends and family. She enjoyed laughing and helping others; especially the furry kind. Her love for all animals gave her joy and she embraced that great love by adopting many animals throughout her lifetime. Demetra enjoyed speed skating, playing hockey, going fishing with her Yia Yia and going to the lake to boat and boogey board. But, the one passion she adored all her life and shared with her precious daughter was dancing.
Demetra is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted and LaVera Vassos and Mazine Evans and Albert Kiser.
She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Noriah Ann McCulloch; her father, Kipper Kiser; step-mother, Karen; mother, Irene Kiser; half-sister, Kristy Holiday; half-brother, Casey Kiser; her Thea, Ilene Phillips; cousins, Kylie Burch and Clinton Phillips; along with their children whom she loved dearly: Brayson, Adam, Kendall, Makenzy, Brewer, Krimmly; and her estranged husband.
