Elberry Jones Jr.

Elberry Jones Jr of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on October 8, 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada. Elberry Jones Jr was born in Longview Texas to Elberry Jones Sr. and Dana Jones on November 17, 1926.
Elberry attended Public school in Longview Texas upon Graduating from High school he moved to California and enlisted into the Army from September 27, 1950 till September 23, 1952. After getting out of the Army Elberry Joined the United State Postal Service and worked for them 37 years and Loved his job very much. He was awarded the Combined Federal Campaign Award for Superior Performance and True Dedication and in Recognition of the, success of the Combined Federal Campaign. Then on the 8th day of March 1975 he married the Love of his life Lula Fitchett in Las Vegas NV. They lived in Los Angeles for 20 some years and moved to Las Vegas Nevada in 1993. They had a Janitorial Service Called TLC. Elberry is preceded in death by both parents Elberry Jones Sr and Dana Jones, his brother James Tippett, his sister Mae Russell, and Brother Charles Jones. Elberry is Survived by his wife Lula Jones, Sister Shirley Glover, Brother Carl Jones Both of Los Angeles, His two Daughters Anita Jones, & Maxine Milbourne, Grand Daughter Monique Hunter, Great Grand daughter Skye Hunter and Grandson Bryce Hunter, his loving Sister in Law Edith Gray and a host of nieces, nephews, and family the Celebration of Life will be at Davis Funeral Home at 1401 South Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas Nevada 89146 on Wednesday October 18 , 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
