Eleanor Dolan, 68 of Las Vegas passed away after a long illness in the comfort of her home on December 21, 2016. Eleanor was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on June 9th, 1948 to Margaret J. Tomcho and Leo E. Kisman. Eleanor is survived by her husband David W. Dolan, daughter Heather A. Dolan-Salveson, son Ryan D. Dolan, sister Roseann Petrick-Snyder, and brother Joseph Kisman all of Las Vegas. Eleanor attended Battin high school in Elizabeth, NJ and Berkley Secretarial School. Eleanor met her husband Dave when they both worked at Burry Biscuit Company in Elizabeth.
B.K. (Before kids) Eleanor and Dave enjoyed vacations in Ireland and Germany. Other favorite vacations were Cancun, Bermuda, San Francisco, Hawaii, Disney World, and other destinations, some B.K. and many A.K.. As dave changed jobs they enjoyed living in New York, St Louis, Atlanta, Findlay, and La Porte before settling down in Las Vegas eleven years ago.
Eleanor worked most of her career as a legal secretary spending time working for private practices, various state offices, and the Federal Public Defenders office while raising both of her children. After her retirement, Eleanor's favorite pastime was playing Bingo. Several local casinos are sure to notice a drop in income.
