Emmanuel Amar

Emmanuel Tolbo Amar, 43, of Las Vegas, NV passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. He was born on January 22, 1974, in Makati City, Philippines.

The funeral service will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Davis Funeral Homes and Memorial Park, 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.

Known to most as "Manny" or "Weweng", he grew up in Groton, CT and graduated from Robert E. Fitch High school in 1993. He worked at Foxwoods Resort Casino for 15 years, and was a dealer at the Palazzo Las Vegas since 2008. He was a hardworking, loyal and kind-hearted devoted father who had nothing but love for his family and friends. He loved to play pool, go bowling, show off his dance moves, and most of all, be the best friend that anyone could ever have. His friendly and happy demeanor lit up the room and was always the life of the party. He will be deeply missed by his family and numerous friends.

Manny leaves behind his 6-year-old daughter, Jada-lin, who resembles him in every way. In addition, Manny is survived by Jada-lin's mother, Rosebeth Ates; step-sons Justin and Shye; both his parents, Eduardo and Merlinda Amar Sr; two brothers, Eduardo Amar Jr and EllisonJohn Amar; one sister-in-law, Erlinda Amar; three nieces, Joscelyn, Nalissa, and Amelia Amar; two nephews, Gabriel Amar and Kyle Smith; and by many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
