Ernesto Santos Espino

Ernesto “Ernie” Santos Espino passed away peacefully the morning of January 30, 2024 at the age of 88.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Elmer and wife Liza Ann, Teresa, wife of his predeceased son Erwin, Eleanor and her husband John Emile, and Elaine. He will also be dearly missed by his 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence M. Espino.

Though we are missing our Daddy's presence in our lives, we are comforted by God’s grace that he had peace, without fear and anxiety before and after his bypass and pacemaker surgeries. As always, he entrusted his life to our Heavenly Father, kept his faith, and showed gratitude until the end.

“Throughout my life of 88 years, my Almighty God and gracious Heavenly Father has been so good, faithful, merciful to me, and has shown that He is in control of my life. I trust Him. My life is in His hands!” — A message on Daddy’s phone to our cousin, Jonathan Gabriel, before his surgery.  These words are a testament of his life LIVED in faith.
