Frances Mary Allocca, age 86 Passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 22, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn New York on January 10, 1936, to her parents Joseph and Irene (Nee Noonan) Fleck.
Fran’s life revolved around her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her new great-great grandson. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed crafting and tinkering on penny slot machines. She donated to numerous charities such as Veteran’s Fund, Heart Association, Animal Foundations and more. She retired from United Food and Commercial Workers Union as a Bookkeeper/Cashier at Grand Union Supermarket in Long Island, New York.
Fran and her husband Anthony relocated to Las Vegas, to be closer to family once they both retired. She was a great dancer, read the newspaper cover to cover daily. She loved doing Sudoku puzzles and delighted in family gatherings. She was a fantastic cook and made the best gravy in the world. Her Favorite TV shows were Golden Girls, Murder she wrote, Andy Griffith, Bonanza and Columbo.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Irene. Son Frank Monroig lll, Husband Anthony Allocca, Son-in-law Frank Todaro. Her brothers William, Edward, and Thomas. Her sisters Theresa, Elizabeth, and Marie.
Frances is survived by her daughter Sheron Todaro, grand-children Frank Todaro, Frank Monroig (Bridget), Nicole Todaro-Quiteno (Anthony), Ashley Stife-Todaro(nick), Samantha Monroig, Ryan Todaro (Laura) and Kristian Todaro. Great-grandchildren; Madison, Gisele, Alyssa, Lexi, AJ, Gianna, Sophia, Frank, Nicholas, Axel, Paxton, Magnolia, and great-great grandson Jordan.
The celebration of life and gathering will be held at Davis funeral Home-Rainbow Chapel – 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd., on Saturday March 19th, 2022. Gathering time for friends begins at 12:00pm with the memorial service to follow at 2:00pm. Please join the family after the service for refreshments and sharing memories of our beloved mother/grandmother.
