Fred Corsi
1928 - 2023
Fred Corsi, of Las Vegas, passed away on October 3, 2023 at home surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Fred, born on March 5, 1928 in Belleville New Jersey, was a partial owner of both Mt. Vernon Village and CBT Construction, as well as the Plantation Restaurant. After a successful career, Fred retired to spend time with his family in Las Vegas. He served in the U.S. Navy from November 23, 1945 to October 8, 1947. Fred was a beloved man who was married to the love of his life, Olga Corsi, on October 22, 1950. He was fiercely loyal to his loved ones, kind, and talented. During his construction days, he and his family built a motel in Florida, aptly named the Corsair, and they would vacation there every summer as well as a development in Toms River named Dreamwood Acres. He was a professional bowler, the first person to bowl a 300 at Bradley Lanes. He loved golf, carpentry, desserts, Frank Sinatra, photography, and was an incredible artist and oil painter. His children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will continue to cherish his memory.
Fred is survived by his wife Olga; children Anna and Frank DeMartino, Olga and Gilly Lebner, Fred and Cathy Corsi, and Louis Corsi; grandchildren Anthony DeMartino, Talia and J.J. Erlichman, Nicole and Robbie Corsi-Bryant, Danny and Bianca Corsi, Isabella Corsi and Michael Corsi; great grandchildren Mia, Sarah, Olivia and Jack Erlichman and Aubrey Bryant; sister Phyllis Visco; and lastly his beloved dog Brooke.
