Freda Anestasi

Freda Fay Mitchell Anestasi, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away on May 27th, 2017.

Freda was born in Bell Gardens, CA to Warren & Wanda Mitchell on December 12th, 1941.

Freda grew up in Bell Gardens as one of 4 sisters. She graduated in 1959 from Bell Gardens High School. From there she married the love of her life, James, on December 30th, 1961. Freda and James were married for 55 years at the time of her passing, an accomplishment she was very proud of. They had two children, who will forever be her babies, no matter their age.

Freda was an avid reader who loved to immerse herself in a good book. She was a friend to many and stranger to none. The world is forever a better place for her presence in it and she will be missed greatly by her family and friends, near and far.

Freda is preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Mitchell Fry, her mother, Wanda Jeffrey Mitchell, and her father Warren Mitchell.

Freda is survived by her husband, James Anestasi, Jason Anestasi (Kimberly), Jaime Cooper (Joshua), 3 grandchildren; Marissa, Savannah and Lucas, two sisters; Donna Scott (Colorado) and Janet Smith (Arizona), as well as many nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Memorial services will be held on June 10th, from 3 PM to 7 PM at Davis Funeral Home 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89146. Light refreshments will be provided.
