Fredrick Nelson Crandall, known fondly as Fred, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on September 9, 1962, in Nevada to Sherman and Donna Crandall. Fred's life was marked by service and dedication, with his graduation from high school in 1980 subsequent enlistment in the United States Marine Corps, where he served honorably for four years.
Following his military service, Fred pursued a career in the airline industry, graduating from the International Air Academy. He dedicated many years to this field and continued his work until 2021. Throughout his career, Fred was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
Fred is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Sherman and Donna Crandall; one brother; three brothers-in-law; one sister; and two nieces. His legacy of kindness and generosity will live on through his surviving family, which includes three sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews, along with their families. Fred cherished his relationships and was a dear friend to many; his absence will be deeply felt by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial gathering in honor of Fred will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home - Rainbow Chapel, located at 1401 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146. During this time, family and friends will come together to celebrate Fred's life and share in remembrance of a truly remarkable individual.
