Harold Kalnitz, 86, of Buffalo, New York, and Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2021, in Las Vegas.

Harold was born in Buffalo, New York, to Louis and Anna Kalnitz (Ambrose) on August 2, 1934. He was married to Elaine Elizabeth Kalnitz (Gaik) on November 29, 1970, in Buffalo. Harold owned Aqua Mart Pools of Buffalo for 30 years and proudly sold Esther Williams and Johnny Weissmuller Swimming Pools. He honorably served in the Army as a military police officer, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. Harold was a devout Buffalo Bills fan and held season tickets for 56 years. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Anna Kalnitz (Ambrose).
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Elaine Kalnitz; his children, Kirk Kalnitz (wife Lisa) and Michelle Freter (husband Jerry); his brother Karl Kalnitz (wife Marlene); and sister Gale Stiller (husband Ron); his Grandchildren, Cheri Derry, Samuel Gardner, Brandon Freter, Kathryn Freter, and Thomas Freter; and great-Grandchildren, Coraline Derry, Rose Mecca, and Alice Gardner.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association in Harold's honor.
