Hank C. Nowling IV, age 86, of Las Vegas, NV passed away in peace on the morning of May, 10th 2019. Hank was born in Kansas City, KS to Henry and Ruby Nowling on Febuary, 4th 1933.
Hank honorably served as a Corporal in the Korean War, a proud patriot earning many medals from 1952-1954. Upon returning back to the states, he met the love of his life Darlene to whom he was happily married to for 58 years and later becoming a loving father and grandfather. Hank had a passion for cars, spending 30 years working at Friendly Ford and winning "Best of Show" many times for his �½69 Shelby. He was a master modeler, and enjoyed building everything from cars and boats, to planes and railroads. He was an artist at heart and loved painting landscapes and could magically draw anything you asked of him. He had a great sense of humor and with a twinkle in his eye and that mischievous smile he will be in our hearts forever.
Hank is survived by his wife: Darlene Nowling; Children: Tammy Gatski and Clay Nowling; Grandchildren: McKenna and Grant Gatski
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 21st at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's foundation.
