James Richard

James E. Richard was born on September 22, 1932 to the late Boisy Richard Sr. and Katie Lee Richard in Altheimer, Arkansas. James accepted Christ at an early age. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1951. James was a faithful member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Charles E. Marshall, where he loved serving on the Board of Trustees. He worked for Blue Diamond for many years and was a member of the Western Conference of Teamsters. James departed this life on July 13, 2019 at Valley Hospital Medical Center.

James Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lula Richard; his father, Boisy Richard Sr.; his mother, Katie Lee Richard; three brothers, Thurman Richard, Boisy Richard Jr., and Murl Richard. He leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Elton Richard; four sisters, Herdext Mae Bess, Theda (Scottie) Scott, Vereastine (Tony) Joseph, Norma (Willie) Iverson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
