Jewel Berka

Jewel M. Berka, 79, died March 13, 2012 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas. She was born on July 15, 1932 in Gary, Indiana to Charles B. and Inez M. Jones. On June 23, 1970 she married Joseph Berka in Las Vegas, he preceded her in death.

Jewel was a member of the VFW and Eagles. She enjoyed Keno, Bowling, Darts and Bingo.

She was a beloved daughter, mother, wife, sister, and grandmother. Survivors include her son, Lloyd Brenda Nicholson daughters, Mary Ellen Alfredo Brito and Inez Sanchez 25 grandchildren, 33 greatgrandchildren, and two greatgreatgrandchildren. She has left us here, but will remain in our hearts forever.

Viewing will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm with funeral services starting at 12:30 pm at Davis Funeral Home 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Interment will be at Davis Memorial Park.
