Josefa Galera

Josefa Galera, 88 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on May 8, 2011. She was born on February 22, 1923 to Jose Morales and Consolacion Sabrine.
Josefa enjoyed cooking, baking and singing. She also loved to play mahjong and solitaire all night until early in the morning. When she started to have dementia she loved to talk to people and tell them that she was a retired teacher and that she had 10 children and lived in a cement house.
Josefa is survived by her children: Honeymoon M. Palacios, Ralph M. Palacious, Helen Galera Reigle, Myrna Galera Lawler, Rene Morales Galera, Irma Galera Vecina, Lilibeth Galera Tigayon, Grace Galera Erecilla, Mila Galera Paglinawan. She is also survived by her brother Jesus Morales and sister Gloria Belasa Zaragosa. There are also 29 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
Services are being held at Davis Funeral Home, Charleston Chapel, located at 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102. Visitation will be on Saturday May 14, 2011 from 37pm, on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 37pm and on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 37pm.
