Lupe Rangel

Lupe M. Rangel, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away on February 5, 2013. She was born on March 5, 1931. She is survived by her children: Dorothy Rangel, Charlie Rangel, Walter Rangel, Sandra Taggart, William Rangel her grandson Jasper Taggart her brother John Duran her sonsinlaw: John Taggart and Robert Hubbert her daughterinlaw: Marcella Rangel her greatgrandchildren: Tyson Adams and Carlie Rangel Adams. She is preceded in death by: Thomas Rangel, son Justin Rangel Adams, grandson.


Lupe Rangel was born in Los Angeles, CA, where she married and had six children. After moving to Sacramento, CA, she started her own business, TopNotch Typing Service. Once she retired, she lived in Crystal Bay, NV and Las Vegas, NV. She had an enthusiastic and fine appreciation of music, initially developed in her early years as a member of Glee Club at Garfield High School in L. A. She was also a passionate and keen Scrabble player. Throughout her life, she remained a steadfast, trueblue L. A. Dodger fan. Her loving and cheerful spirit, her warmth, and her generous heart will forever be cherished and a source of joy in the memories of her family and friends.
