She was born in union of father Gary Clark Saunders and mother Barbara Johns in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She was raised in Denver, Colorado. She moved to Seattle to be close to her mother Barbara and son Travis. Her occupation was Customer Service. She believed in helping other without asking for anything in return. Mara was a resident of Las Vegas for the past 5 years. She loved and cherished her pets. She enjoyed the blossom that the flowers bring to the air. She is survived by her son Travis Saunders and daughter Alexis Hankocy. She is also survived by 2 brothers Jim, Mike and Aunt Starr Christiansen, Cousins Drew, Cameron and Courtney as well as a host of friends that she loved dearly. If you met her you were blessed. Now let our hearts rest. We thank all of you for your love and concern. Travis Saunders.
