Margaret W. Starker passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Las Vegas. The beloved daughter of Arthur and Margaret Young, she was born in London, England May 23, 1929. Margaret first came to the U.S. in the 1940s and moved to Las Vegas in the early 1950s. Margaret had great respect for education. She received her masters from UNLV and dedicated herself to teaching. She loved movies, attending the local dances and trips to the beach and San Diego Zoo. She had a love for life, a strongwilled soul and a passion for teaching. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Marsh. She is survived by her children, Nancy Greg Gines, Kathy Bullard, Steve Edythe Eberhart, Jack Coskey, Michael Leslie Starker and Karen Noe Ramirez 10 grandchildren six greatgrandchildren and her beloved cat, Bootsie. Margaret was a loving mother, a dedicated teacher, a loyal friend and animal lover. Viewing will be 11 a.m.1 p.m., Saturday, June 16, with services following, both at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. In lieu on flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 4800 W.
