Maria Nunez

Maria De Los Reyes Ufret Nunez, passed away on March 28, 2013 at UMC University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unlike anyone else, Maria had two birthdays instead of one. Her original birthday being Dec 8, 1939 her legal birthday being May 4, 1940. Her biological parents Carmen and Peyin Ufret mistakenly entered the incorrect birthday on her birth certificate, celebrating two birthdays instead of one. Maria was raised by Thomas and Christina Ufret. Her surviving siblings are Mildred, Carmen, Nilda, Pedro, Jose, and Teresita.

One of Marias greatest accomplishments happened at the age of fortytwo when she went back to school and received her diploma, she had the biggest smile on her face. On Dec 26,1983 she took her husband Pablo Nunez to the ministers house without his knowledge, and married him on the spot. Maria and Pablo Nunez have been married for 29 years. Maria then helped bring Pablos three children over to the United States from Cuba. Marias heart was filled with pure love, always wanting the best for everyone. She will always be remembered as a beautiful, loving, strong, woman touching and helping the lives of others.

Maria Nunezs Viewing is April 3 at Davis Funeral Home. The Burial is April 4 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
