Marie “Meme” Storer, age 73, passed away peacefully at home after a long, difficult, yet courageous battle with COPD. She was born to Edward and Mildred (Putz) Neisius on March 5, 1947 in Baraboo, WI. Marie graduated in 1966 Lafayette High School in Madison, WI. On Aug 1, 1987 she married Dale Storer. Marie worked for 16 dedicated years at General Motors before retiring to enjoy more time with her family. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, baking, bingo, and most importantly spending time with her friends and family. Marie was a very dedicated, proud and loving mother and grandmother; who given the chance would boast upon them. She never missed a birthday, Christmas, or any other reason to send them her love in a card. She felt they were her greatest treasures.

Marie is survived by the love of her children Kenneth (Ursula) Neisius, Angela Taylor, and Nathan (Callie) Taylor. Eight granddaughters, two grandsons, one great granddaughter and one great grandson. Her brother Harry (Lorna) Ribbke, nieces and nephew, two stepchildren, and two best friends Bobbi Kirchner Copenhefer and Sallie Culver. And a host of other family and friends who will miss her open heart and arms dearly.

Marie was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, uncles, two brothers, a sister-n-law, and a stepson. Most recently, she loss her great granddaughter Trinity Adelle Thomas and her beloved son Lesley Neisius who were patiently waiting her arrival.
