Mary Baca

Mary Baca of Las Vegas, NV. passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015. She was 78. She was born to parents Ramon and Lupe Chavez on June 25, 1937 in Albuquerque, NM. She came to Las Vegas over 40 years ago from Ca., where she resided previously. Mary was a Casino Porter at the Fremont Hotel for over 25 years before she retired from there. She was of Catholic faith and had attended St. Anne Catholic Church when she was able to. Mary was very involved in the lives of her family members, supporting them in their various activities. She accompanied them on outings that included window shopping and going to the park & movie theater. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Maria Brangwynne of Las Vegas, NV.; sisters, Carmen Patron of Las Vegas, NV.; Barbara Sanchez and Lupe Trujillo, both of Albuquerque, NM.; nieces, Diana Jones of Las Vegas, NV. & Kathy Ploof of New Jersey; nephews, Danny Lucero of Las Vegas, NV., and Ernie Lucero of Reno, NV.; and 5 great-nephews, including D.J. Lucero of Las Vegas, NV.; and 3 granddaughters, Caitlyn Kemer, Ashlie Kemer, and Faith Boltz, all of Las Vegas, NV.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV., 89146.
