Mary Pauline Love was born in Birmingham Alabama to the parentage of Florene and Joseph Knight. She attended Red Ore Elementary, Wenonah Junior High, and Wenonah High School. After graduating, Mary enlisted in the Womens Armed Corps. Mary confessed a love for Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shady Grove Baptist Church. In later years, she attended Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and Mountaintop Faith Ministries and was pleased to serve as a choir member as well as in many other capacities. Mary enjoyed Sunday School and Bible Study and sharing the word of the Lord with others.
After completing her tour of duty in Paris France, Mary pursued her goal and became a registered nurse after graduating from Los Angeles Community College. She was employed throughout Greater Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Nevada.Mary was the wife of Wilford Booker and the loving mother of four children, Valoria Nikki, Terrence Terry, Yolanda Renee, and Tracie. Mary treasured her roles of mother and grandmother and highly praised any and all accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She had a positive and active role in her community and was affectionately known as Aunt Paula. Mary enjoyed baking, traveling, and attending church services. Mary will be especially remembered for her glowing smile, her warm heart, and her hospitable personality that touched the lives of all she encountered.Mary was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Knight, Florene and Alfred Hawley Stepfather her sisters: Jacqueline Davis, Pia Knight son Terrence Terry Booker Nephew Joseph Tate Niece Pamela Keaton. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Norma Tate, Cyd KnightThompson, Sue Weaver brothers Alfred Hawley Jr., Milton Knight children Valoria Nikki, Yolanda Renee, Tracie daughterinlaw, Amanda Booker grandchildren Jovon, Robert Bobby, Shalane, Jeremy, Joseph Delorean, Shaleena, DaJour DayDay, Kenneth KJ, Emani, KeMar and RyLan and a host of other relatives and friends.
