Entrepreneur of El Burrito Café MARY GRACE GARDUNO RAMIREZ passes

Mary Grace Garduno Ramirez, 91 years old, passed on May 7th, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV. Mary was born in Colorado Springs, CO to Marcelino and Lonicia Garduno on July 15, 1929

Mary Grace went to St Mary’s Catholic School and attended up to the 5th grade, she married at 16 years old to Romolo Rudulfo Duran in November 1945 then married Frank Ramirez Jr in November 1978.

Mary was one of the original owners of El Burrito Café on Fremont Street opened in 1969 until 1991. Mary also owned El Burrito in Boulder City which was featured in Cannonball Run 2

She is preceded in death by Marcelino and Lonicia Garduno (parents) Lloyd Garduno and Joseph Sisneros (brothers), Rebecca Von Schmelen and Elvina Pemberton (sisters) as well as (children) Elaine Duran, Christine Marrujo, Duane, Charlyn, Edward Duran, and (grandchildren). Fransisco Joaquin Marrujo, and Dominic Alexander Duran.

Mary Grace, is survived by (spouse) Frank Ramirez Jr. (daughters), Carmen Duran Rajraji and (Hicham), Rebecca Duran Alvarado, (sons) Marcelino Duran and (Shelley), David Duran and (Rebecca). Emilio and William Garduno (brothers). She was a proud Matriarch of Thirty (30) Grandchildren, Sixty Three (63) Great Grand Children and One(1) Great Great Grandchild
