Mike Johnson

Mike Johnson, age 77, of Las Vegas, NV passed away peacefully at his home on January 22, 2017. Mike was born on September 28, 1939, in Cincinnati, OH to Richard & Ruby Johnson. He proudly served in the United States Army from June 5, 1957, until June 4, 1963, as an EOD Specialist. He Married Diane on April 19, 1973. Mike specialized as a Gunsmith and Model builder. e designed a model car, "Pegasus", which is currently on display in a museum in Salt Lake City. UT. Mike is preceded in death by his sons: Joshua & Ronnie. He is survived by his wife, Diane, his daughters: Kelly Esperanza, Kasey Etheridge, Angela & Paul Bricking, and Shannon Johnson; His sisters Mare & husband ( Journey)Leader, Dianne & husband (Barrett) McDonald & Lynn & husband (Dana) Lentz; as well as his 13 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. A visitation for Mike will be held at Davis Funeral Home, 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89146 on Thursday January 26, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM with the service immediately following. Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 27, 2017, at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89119.
