Moses Prather Jr.

Moses Prather Jr., 79, of Las Vegas died June 9, 2011 at Sunrise Hospital. He was born on July 21, 1931 in Goldsboro, North Carolina to Moses and Ruth Flowers Prather Sr. On December 4, 1970 he married Dina Filipolous, she preceded him in death.
Moses was a retired member of the United States Air Force and he also is retired from United Airlines where he worked as maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the VFW, AHEPA, and St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.
Survivors include his daughter Sophie Prather and her husband Nikos Mastromanolis of Greece sister Dorothy Isaacs of Las Vegas brotherinlaw Andreas Filopoulous of Greece and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road with Father John Hondros officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Memorial Park.
