Olevia Redmond Fleming was born on July 4, 1943 in Oak Grove, LA, to Emmett and Lillie Redmond, both preceeded her in death.
Olevia was a proud graduate of Magnolia High School. She attended Secretarial School before moving to Las Vegas. Olevia married Levell Williams, to this union four daughters were born. She later married Benjamin Fleming and to this union two sons were born.
Upon her arrival in Las Vegas, Olevia worked in the hotel industry later owning her own cleaning service. Olevia later joined Clark County School District as a Title I Family Aide. She retired from the school district in 2004.
Olevia left this world a better place through the unconditional love that she had for others. She was never short of room, board, food, or open arms for anyone inneed. She was and will always be considered, Momma, Sista, Grandma, Auntie, my Kindergarten teacher or just Godma.
Olevia leaves to cherish her memories: children, Aletha, Lillie, Dorothy, BonnieJean, Kevin and Antwon. Twentynine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Siblings: John, Empress, Mary and Felicia. Godchildren: Inga, Johnny, Troyce, Onyette and Armeika. Godsisters: Alicia, Ruthie and Ester. Special friends: Ed and Margie May, Eddie and Cleo Coleman, Berta Norwood and Janie Coleman. Olevia also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
