Patricia Mueller

Pat was born on August 29, 1949 to Perry Wesley Blacketer and Mabel Elizabeth (Smith) Blacketer in Kansas City, Missouri. Pat was baptized at South Presbyterian Church (Kansas City) on April 27, 1958 and was confirmed in the faith at St. Timothy Campus Chapel, Warrensburt, Missouri on May 2, 1971. On December 19, 1970, she gave her hand in marriage to Stephen Mueller at the Central Missouri State University campus chapel. The package came with a rowdy bunch of Beta Sigma Psi Lutheran frat brothers!

So began a marriage filled with joy, excitement, surprises and boundless love! She made it clear that she was in charge but she would give her best in return. She made friends everywhere she went. She loved to travel and arranged itineraries for maximum fun. She loved tent camping and especially loved the national parks. In her heart, however, she loved doing one thing more else. She loved to teach the children. She was given a teacher's hand bell from the grateful staff of Chouteau Elementary in Kansas City for her volunteer work with their PTA. She served as Sunday School Superintendent, VBS Director, Mtn View Preschool office administrator and Las Vegas Youth Orchestra Parents President.

Pat was preceded in death by son Clifton Mueller, daughter Amy Elizabeth Mueller, mother Mabel Elizabeth Blacketer and father Perry Wesley Blacketer. Pat was survived by husband Stephen Mueller, sons: Jeffrey Mueller and Andrew Mueller, daughter-in-law Jenny (Guse) Mueller, sisters: Elizabeth Jane Land and Sheila Fay Everman, and granddaughter Ruby Mueller.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Boston Civic Symphony.
