Paul Richard Corky Rux passed away September 20,2014, after an extended illness at his home surrounded
by his wife Evelyn, and his extended family. A 50 year resident of Las Vegas . Corky was born April 18,1930, in New Mexico.
With his passing, the world has lost one of the kindest, most honest, genuine and fun loving men imaginable. Corky
always had a smile on his face and a pleasant word for everyone, in his personal life as businessman and as a longtime
member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was an avid animal lover went out of his way to help any pet who needed care.
For most of his life in Las Vegas, Corky excelled in providing signage to an unprecedented number for local businesses
and nearly every casino in Southern Nevada. After working at Dombcek signs for many years, Corky opened his
own sign shop and continued to deliver the same superlative service until his retirement , In fact , casino executives
marveled at his timeliness and his remarkable ability to respond to every request within hours, After his retirement from the
sign business, Corky worked as a massage therapist, to the delight of his satisfied clients. In addition to his wife, Evelyn,
Corky is survived by stepchildren Joanne Cajucom, Rodah and Dante Fabunan, Monah and Beau Doyle. Grandchildren Janet
Justin, Jasmine and Jaimy Cajucom, Duncan, Connor and Tr Doyle, Adrienne and Kokoy Fabunan. Anabel, Jay and Mandy
Abad Santos , Rowena Cook and countless friends who miss him dearly. Funeral service will be held at Davis Funeral Homes
2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89102 on September 27,2014 viewing from 9:00 and service at 11:00 . Burial will
be private. The family especially wishes to thank the Nathan Adelson Hospice Home Care service for their devotion and
professionalism during his illness.
