Paulina Tilley

Paulina Ruth Tilley, 78, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on March 13, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV.

Paulina was born Valparaiso, Chile to Luis Guillermo Zeiss Brunell and Blanca Aurora Contreras de Zeiss on August 5, 1943.

Paulina met her husband of 52 years James “Jim” Tilley in Santiago, Chile.  Paulina immigrated to the United States and married Jim on October 10, 1969 at St. Anne Catholic Church. Together they had 3 children. She became a US citizen in 1976. Paulina was an active member and once President of the Chilean American Club, she worked at The Aladdin as a host cashier until it closed in 1997. She opened the Paris Hotel Casino and was a supporter of the Culinary Union as a union steward.  She was an avid bingo player and made many friends at local gaming casinos. Her friends and family will always remember her strength and perseverance.
Paulina is preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Blanca Zeiss and brother-in-law Norman Kaufman.
Paulina is survived by her husband of 52 years James A. Tilley,  daughters Paula Tilley, and Bonnie Tilley, son James P. Tilley (Carmen Gutierrez), sisters Blanca “Eve” Kaufman and Erika Lillo de Zeiss (Hernan) and grandchildren Joshua, Mark, Shelby, Emma, and Alexis.

Funeral services will be held at  11:30 am, April 28, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Davis Memorial Park 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89119. Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Services.
