MSGT PHILIP WILSON U.S. Air Force, Retired Philip Nathanial Wilson, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 4, 2013. He was a family man and a patriotic veteran. He was born Oct. 23, 1933, in Butlertown, Md., and moved to Las Vegas in 1976. Philip retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of service as a master sergeant. He then worked for and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mabel Wilson brothers, William, Perry, Oscar, Walter and Raymond and sisters, Evelyn and Peggy. Philip is survived by his beloved wife, of 37 years, Masayo Wilson sister, Irene of Butlertown sons, Kirk and Vincent Wilson of East Orange, N.J., Sidney Wilson of Virginia Beach, Va. daughter, Jeanette Wilson of Orange, N.J. 14 grandchildren 11 greatgrandchildren and a host of family and friends. Public viewing will be 12 p.m., Monday, July 15, with funeral services following, both at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
