Ramiro Cuellar

Ramiro R. Cuellar, 76 of Las Vegas passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Ramiro was born in Brownsville Texas to Deodoro & Cleotilde Cuellar on October 6, 1940. He joined the Marines in 1958 and proudly served his country for 33 years. He served two tours in Vietnam serving with the Radio Battalion. After retiring from the Marines Ramiro worked for Star Markets in Hawaii. Ramiro enjoyed dancing & mentoring the next generation. Ramiro was a Catholic.

Ramiro is preceded in death by his parents & his brother Encarcion Cuellar jr.

He is survived by his son Xavier Cuellar of Las Vegas and his wife Joanna and their sons Derrick and Zackery. Ramiro is also survived by his ex-wife Judith Wong; and siblings Raquel Cuellar, Lydia Zammit, Mary Lou Cuellar, and Antonio Cuellar along with many nieces & nephews.

Visitation for Ramiro will be held on March 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home Rainbow Chapel at 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas NV 89146. Funeral Service for Ramiro will begin at 1:20 p.m. on March 17, 2017 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive Boulder City Nevada 89005. Services are entrusted to the care of Davis Funeral Home Rainbow Chapel.
