Rebecca Finonis Passarini

February 12, 1938 - June 15, 2019

Our beautiful mom passed... We are so thankful that all of us got a chance to tell her how much we love her. She was an awesome mom, grandmother and friend. She lived her life selflessly, and she was one hell of a fighter. Those were the things we have always admired most about mom. We’re going to miss her deeply, but at least now she’s in a better place. She is definitely one soul that has earned her wings tenfold. We love you mom. We miss you already.

She was a strong willed individual. She traveled to America in search of an opportunity to make her children's lives better. This gave way to a beautiful future for her family and how she supported them through all endeavors. Not only did they see her strength and wish to copy it, they made it a platform for who they are now. She never resigned her faith even in the most troubling times of her life. Most people would have given up multiple times when trials are presented to them, but Mima was not one of those people. Her faith was her rock through all trials, and she always tried to steer her family in the right direction even in times of positivity. Not only was she strong she was kind and had a sense of humor. Not many grandmothers have such an open mind and a free spirit to them. Mima was the exception every time. Not only would she crack a joke or two she would actively try to be fun with everyone.

She never let her physical ailments affect her life even up until the end. Our strength and kindness come from her and every lesson she taught us has kept us on a path we can be proud of. I do hope she is at peace now and can find solice in her beliefs. We love you Mima and can never repay you for all those years of kindness and support.
