Rene Griffitts

Rene Alice Griffitts, 86, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 20, 2013. She was born July 26, 1927, in Bicknell, Utah, and was a 61year resident of Las Vegas. Rene Alice enjoyed reading, crocheting, crossword puzzles and many favorite television programs. Everyone who knew her would say that her vibrance and authenticity was felt by all. Rene Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Claud M. Baker and Harriet O. Baker brother, Guy T. Baker first husband, Malcom Sweeney and second husband, Jesse O. Griffitts. Rene Alice is survived by her brother, Seth C. Baker sister, Gladys Owens daughter, Patsy Rene Sapien two grandchildren parrot, Mr. Crackers dog, Honey and five greatgrandchildren. Viewing will be from 11 a.m.noon Thursday, Jan. 2, with services following, both at the LDS Laurelwoods Ward, 6601 W. Twain Ave. Burial will be in Bicknell Cemetery, Bicknell, Utah.
