Robert Meadows Jr.

Robert “Bob” Meadows Jr., aged 79, passed away on November 21, 2024, at his home in North Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Born on March 14, 1945 in Montgomery City, Alabama, Robert served in the Air Force for nearly 20 years with multiple tours overseas including Aviano, Italy.

Robert built a life and family with his wife, Corean, together for over 53 years of marriage, after a chance meeting on a greyhound bus in Birmingham, Alabama. They created a home filled with love, laughter, and support for their three children, Robert, Sharon, and Brian. Robert was known for his incredible positive outlook on life, his faith, and his knack for storytelling. He was also known for showing love by giving advice whether solicited or not, and giving gifts just because, it did not have to be a special occasion.

Robert leaves behind a spouse, a sister, JoAnn, three children, four grandchildren - Crystal, Korena, Kevin, Catrina, and 6 great grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held on December 30, 2024, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel on South Rainbow Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a local cancer research charity such as Southern Nevada Cancer Research Foundation, a cause close to Robert’s heart, given his previous successful battle over prostate cancer and his dedication to his wife currently living with cancer.
