Rosario C. Punzalan Obituary

Rosario Calces Punzalan, 94 years old, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on June 24, 2020 in Las Vegas.

Rosario was born in Bay, Laguna, Philippines to Juan Calces and Teodora Tocsoy on September 1, 1925.

Retired Chief Pharmacist in the Philippines. She finished school at University of Santo Tomas. While working at Quezon City Hall Health Department, she had been an active member of the Catholic Women’s League. She moved to Nevada, Reno in 1988, then to Las Vegas in 2001.

Rosario C. Punzalan is preceded in death by her husband, retired Philippine Judge, Pacifico L. Punzalan on December 1997.

Rosario is survived by her six children, Larry, Lute, Onie, Tessie, Thelma and Liddy; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Rosary Novena is being held everyday at 7:00 PM at Rosario’s residence.

Funeral services will be held on June 29 & 30, 2020 at Davis Funeral Homes with a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church. Cremation will follow and arrangement will be made at a future date for Interment.
